The University Hospital of Basel, is one of the five university hospitals of Switzerland. An extensive icon design has been developed to provide users of the digital applications with intuitive usability. Over 300 different icons have already been lovingly designed and perfected. Particular emphasis was placed on clear and comprehensible symbols to enable easy handling. The University Hospital’s icon design is an important step towards modern and user-friendly healthcare.

The University Children’s Hospital Basel (UKBB) is an independent, university-based centre of competence for paediatric and juvenile medicine, as well as for teaching and research.
