About Me.

giz

GiZ has nothing to do with stinginess or the Swiss-German term “gibts”, but rather originated at some point in my early youth. This youthful nickname eventually evolved into an artist name in the 90s. In addition to running the GiZGRAPHICS agency, illustration is a major focus of my creative work. This includes sketching and developing wordmarks or company logos, designing business stationery, brochures, posters, and POS materials, as well as creating comic characters and brand ambassadors for companies. These works encompass both freehand drawings, sketches, cartoons, and elaborate paintings on canvas. Therefore, this page delves deeper into the craftsmanship and artistic side of GiZ.

Digital illustrations

As an illustrator, it is of the utmost importance for me to always be up to date with the latest developments in the art world. I therefore always follow the latest trends and developments in this industry. This enables me to recognise innovative approaches and incorporate them skilfully into my work.

Hand-painted Illustrations

My techniques are varied and range from pencil to ink and watercolour painting. This versatility allows me to create different styles and adapt flexibly to different projects. I attach great importance to attention to detail, expressiveness and creative design.

My passion for the visual arts and extensive knowledge of the latest animation programmes allows me to utilise a wide range of styles and techniques. I can bring almost any desired scenario to life, fully understanding and realising the client’s vision.

Characters

Overall, creating characters is an art form that requires a lot of patience and dedication. I pride myself on having this skill and being able to inspire my clients with my unique characters. Each character I create has their own story to tell and I look forward to bringing them to life!

Technical drawings

As a professional illustrator, I not only have a wide range of creative skills, but have also mastered the art of technical drawing. This specialised skill allows me to capture complex concepts and designs in precise and detailed illustrations.

Storyboards

As an illustrator with many years of experience and a deep understanding of visual storytelling techniques, I also create storyboards. I am passionate about bringing stories to life and immersing the viewer in a captivating world.
